Another Sunrise
Spectacular sunrise just before 7.30 this morning and an hour later the sky was bland and grey. So glad I was up and able to see this one.
We went out at 8.30 to show our support to save the Crosshands our local pub and keep it open. The photographer never turned up but asked us to email a picture to the paper. I don't think it will make much difference but at least we went and supported the cause. Then an hour or so later on to Thornbury U3A Photographic and we saw the DVD of the results of the Tom Crowe Challenge we entered last year. Unfortunately we cane last but were only 22 points behind the winners. The other clubs were much bigger than ours with serious photographers so we were pleased with the result.
KG has gone to bowls so I am catching up on bits and pieces.
What started out as a beautiful sunrise has ended up as wet, cold and dreary day.
Happy Valentines to those that partake and Happy Day to those that don't
