Another long day

...spent looking mostly at the foreground of this picture. The occasional crow and a few starlings were in attendance. This is an emergency blip resulting from dashing for the camera first thing to get a shot of the marsh harrier sitting on the field. Of course he had flown by the time I was ready.

A.J. helped with sowing the rye and harrowing again. I still have to do some more of that, but it's much too dark to see where to steer the tractor now, in spite of having lights.

I'm waiting for S.R. to come for the carrots now.
