Mar In Urbana

Champaign-Urbana Area Farmer's Market

Every Saturday morning in the parking lot of one of Urbana's Malls you will see this Farmer's Market. There are many wonderful things about locally-grown fruits and vegetables.
The Market continues every Saturday through late October. The growers will be offering a huge variety of fresh, locally-grown produce, flowers, and plants. Come check out the selection, and make sure to hit all five rows of the Market - prepared food vendors, artisans, musicians, and community organizations are also major components to our Market this and every season.

A few examples of the produce you can expect include limited sweet corn, end-of-season peaches, tomatoes of all shapes/sizes/colors, plums, green beans, lettuce and salad mixes, arugula, kohlrabi, chard, bok choy, green onions, peppers of all colors, cherry tomatoes, cut herbs, onions, garlic, carrots, potatoes, and a plethora of summer squashes/zucchini. Market growers also offer meats, cheeses, and honey, plus gorgeous cut flowers, including tuberose, gladiolas, sunflowers, and mixed bouquets. Our vendors have a lot to offer in terms of prepared foods and baked goods, too - look for our row of food trucks in Row 5! The Market is thrilled to welcome the Cracked Truck, Burrito King, and the Moo Mobile as our mobile food providers this weekend. If you came hungry to the Market, Row 5 is the place to go. There may be a few other surprises as well, so have a look through each row to make sure you're not missing anything.
