Durham Cathedral Bookshop

Well, I never knew they wrote books for wives to help them understand their husbands! What a find, but at £14.99 I've decided to work him out for myself!!

So, we slept until half seven and then hit the gym. Paul ran through the streets of Durham and then joined me in the gym as I did my interval session. Shower and then to breakfast, an enormous affair! I had to try really hard not to eat way too much food!!

After breakfast, we wandered in to Durham city centre and mooches through the streets. We headed up to the Cathedral and The Castle Keep, which is where Paul lived during his university years. It is absolutely stunning. We had tea in the cathedral and then strolled back to a shop where I bought the most awesome coat!! And then we popped into a coffee shop where I had arranged for Paul's best friend and best man at our wedding to meet us!! Surprise! We drank and nattered, it was fab! A stroll along the river back to the hotel and now we are chilling, drinking coffee and reading. We have a half bottle of champagne in the mini bar and I've booked a table at a beautiful restaurant for a surprise meal...I'll fill you in on the rest of the surprises tomorrow!! ;0)
