THE PATH BEHIND THE HASSELHOF

More snow had fallen during the night, and with the sun shining the view from our house looked so enchanted. We decided to go for our walk in the morning. It would be warmer we guessed, and the snow could disappear before our eyes.
We drove to the Hasselhof, a big farm, situated a bit isolated between Herstelle and Helmardshausen. Behind the farm a small road leads to the forests on the hills. We did not enter the forest, but walked a path going uphill. Beautiful views on top in all directions. We crossed the road to Langenthal and descended the hill at the other side.
So many tracks in the snow. From deer, fox, and hare.
We saw only one deer in the distance.
We enjoyed this dazzling morning.
After lunch we installed us at the balcony, and soon enough I fell asleep.
Now it is dark and very quiet.
