Mid Autumn in Lickey Woods

I was intending to leave it another week before posting the third in my series of a view in Lickey Woods as it changes with the seasons. But as I passed the spot on my lunchtime walk today the sun was shining brilliantly through the leaves and the colours were just about as good as any I have seen this autumn, so I couldn't resist taking a shot.

I think the contrast between this and the September one is much more impressive than between September and August.
