Spudulika

I can't see Spudulike without thinking of Wayne and Waynetta Slob and their darling daughter.

A wee shopping trip today for shoes for Miss H. Her school shoes are completely done, so the new ones had to be cool for school, AND for when school's out for ever in a few short months. There weren't many to choose from, but some sturdy Kickers shoes have been brought home - and with a 365 day return policy how could it possibly go wrong!  Miss H was also coveting some ankle boots that were on sale and nearly left the shop before remembering that she is now a working woman and could buy them herself - Yay!!

The weather was so horrible this morning that we changed plans and went to the Gyle instead of uptoon. We were feeling cynical about Spudulike's attempt to look 'green' with their brown paper/plastic cups and their green plastic cutlery, but the chana masala baked potato went down a treat.

And it turned out lovely after all!
