The Shrove Tuesday pancake race has been run and won in Olney today. 
It's said to have started in 1445.  To enter you have to be over 18 and lived in Olney for at least 3 months.  You have to wear a skirt, apron and head-covering.  The race is started by the churchwarden at 1155, and the entrants race towards the church tossing their pancake as they go.

We then wait to hear whether winner's time has beaten the winner in Liberal  USA, who also have a pancake race.
