The Old Manor house at Hardwick Hall

I'm trawling through my recent photos that I haven't had time to put on Blip.
Hardwick Hall is Bess of Hardwick's master piece. The Old Manor House that is a ruin in the grounds was whwere she was born. This is one of the fragments of plaster work visible from the path.
She is a real favourite of mine.
