Foul Tempered Water(289/366)

Saligo Bay on Islay. Marked on our guide as "very dangerous for swimming". This is the Atlantic coast of the Hebridean Isle, and the waves had some malice to them.

Apparently this is as nothing compared to the riptide, which will either smash you on the rocks or whip you off to Tiree, 47 miles to the North.

None of this seemed to matter to the surfers though.
