Him and His Shadow

Wild Animal SanctuaryWonderful field trip to The Wild Animal Sanctuary where lions and tigers and bears are all living in a rescue situation. The mile walkway allows visitors to look down as animals roam the Colorado plains.

With a bunch of 7th graders there was concern that 3 hours was going to be too long. The kids were terrific. Patient, quiet and appreciate of even the little things the animals did. A roar, howl or just a sudden run entertained the crowd.

It is an incredible place with people who really care and have taken on quite a cause. Even from above, they are all magnificent!!!
