All our yesterdays.......

......so I'm doing some more 'street research' today (er, that would double as an implied weather report!) but going VERY slightly further afield (but only virtually I hasten to add!) to look at the shops just around the corner for a bit of local context. 'Arcadia' was built in 1899 (so just a wee bit 'younger' than wor street!), although these days it's lost that rather classy glass/wrought iron arcade affair (I suspect that sadly, and literally, bit the dust when a bomb dropped just stage left in the 2nd WW, if it hadn't already gone by then!).....oh, and the trams of course ;-) 
The 7 shop frontages you can see on the image are now (L to R, extra added) a chemist, a Chinese restaurant, a dentist, a workwear supply shop, a mobility scooter shop, a supply teaching agency and a hairdresser.........
