Gallons of water

What is usually a quiet little stream tumbling over the rocks on its way down the sharp drop beside Lovers Walk as it goes from Domain Drive downhill towards Stanley Street. I had only a short time available after being in the inpatient unit, before returning to my desk and the task of writing a report to the national Director, and later asking him to intervene in a difficult matter. All of that meant a long day before heading homeward briefly before going out to my book club.
