Knife edge

We have a quote up on our kitchen wall above our knife rack “of all the tools, the knife reigns supreme” - Robert Farrar Capon in his book Supper of the Lamb. I could say a similar comment about garlic... of all culinary ingredients... (I spose salt might rival it...).
