Bye Bye

We said our final goodbyes to Ann today. Tuttle jnr did us all proud as he helped carry Nana's coffin, particularly after doing a two day hike with scouts. It was an emotional moment as it was my first time as a pallbearer too. Like yesterday's rosary, the turnout was great and the service was lovely, well presented throughout and hymns well chosen. The weather was bright and kind though a tad cold but thankfully there was soup served at the buffet afterwards. And not to mention the velvet cake! It was wonderful to catch up with friends and family we haven't seen for a while too. Tomorrow will see another service where the ashes will be buried.

It's been a long day for us all.
