Snowy daisy

I was surprised to see a dusting of snow out the window this morning.  It seemed heavier on the rooves and paving than on the grass, but I ventured out a little later to try and capture it anyway.  This little daisy seemed reluctant to wake up fully, although it did then get a good lot of sunshine thereafter.

Mum was still very sleepy today, but in generally pretty good spirits.  I worked from home at hers this morning, in between ferrying her breakfast and cups of tea and helping her go to the loo, etc.  Popped out this afternoon to get a bit more food shopping, then cooked us a broccoli and cauliflower macaroni cheese for dinner - which went down very well with the patient :)
