Gate

Leiden still has its medieval set-up, with pretty city gates like this one 'guarding' the city center. I had to be in Leiderdorp today and wanting to avoid the winter roads by car I found out I could actually bike there quite easily. A beautiful winter bike ride, it is good to be moving again! The ride included two of these gates. Saw pretty, new (to me) parts of town and felt again happy we ended up here by chance.
