Jostling for Attention

Still cold but the sun is higher in the sky each day and today it's warmth brought the best from the many crocuses in the cold frame.

A planned day in the garden was rather reduced after we decided to help the grandparents celebrate their wedding anniversary with a 'meals on wheels' hot dinner.  Two cold meats with hot veg, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings and gravy were packed into insulated bags and flasks for the ten minute trip.  Very special to sit round the same table for lunch that we used when J & I were courting and I was invited for Sunday lunch and talk of times old and new.

I did manage about ninety minutes working outside here before the sun set.  The pic above was grabbed in a quick dash down the garden before the meal set off on wheels!
