2018 Sunday — Sunday Scene

For our final Sunday of winter recess, I cooked breakfast, we cleaned house, Mr. Fun did several loads of laundry (bed sheets, bath towels, and potholders and kitchen towels), and then headed out for an afternoon adventure with the three pups. We exited the car at Bay Shore Park in front of the condominiums. We walked down the stairs to the shore of the back bay and back up and walked the length of the park and even stepped over to the Morro Bay Inn parking lot. The we drove a little further to history museum because it was a half hour till closing we were allowed to enter for free; such a fascinating place. Someday we’ll take Tristan and Jade there.

Then we drove back to Morro Bay and filled the gas tank for tomorrow’s trip to SoCal. Then home to watch the sunset.

When the sundown show ended, we put the pups back in the car to drive the short to the Sea Shanty Restaurant for our farewell dinner and celebration of a grand winter recess. After a deliciously fabulous meal, we had a small hot fudge sundae for dessert. Then home to pack laptops and a few other items.
