Wild Fennel

What a brilliant day we have had here. But very warm... The temperature over 30C in our porch. I visited several friends this morning taking gifts of lush silver beet and dwarf French beans. The garden has gone mad with growth. Maisie and I walked the Taylor River Tracks where the wild fennel is in full flower. I love the smell of fennel. We have had two inches (50mm) of rain in our garden over last two days.... so good for the garden. Hannah and Alex had 199mm in Marahau during this last lot of rain. That is an unbelievable 8 inches of rain!
