Concentration

It's surprising just what fun you can have with an empty cereal box :-)
We spent a lovely afternoon with Julia, Sam and Little Alice and, as we were thinking of leaving for home we were invited to look outside. Snowing heavily!  Discussions ensued re: to go or to stay.  Decided to go.  Journey ok until we got on the M62.  Horrendous. A genuine blizzard had obliterated the salt spreading that had taken place earlier. Came off at Jct 21 (Milnrow) and the 'A' roads were treacherous. Gentle, careful driving got us to the Lancs/Yorks boundary. Relief beyond bounds - Calderdale had done a superb gritting job.  Last ten miles no problem, but a Mega wee dram was necessary on arriving safely at Maison MD.
