More cat & flower pictures today.

I had to go out this morning and get replacement parts for a toilet cistern after No1 son manage to break the handle. He claims it was fatigue but I don't see how a bit of plastic could possible give up after only 29 years!
I checked all the measurements and dimensions on the package and they were the same ...... success!  Better buy two just in case one of the other two gives up the ghost.

SWMBO had taken to bed to try and get rid of the headache before we took all the family out for a meal (No1 son and family had scarpered off to the local zoo which is why I had time to take the pictures.

We had a most enjoyable meal and the  three kids were remarkably well behaved (better than a couple of the others there ....... screamers! - nothing worse than screamers).

When we got back I disappeared to refit the toilet handle. 
A ten minute job.
WRONG!
The shaft is too damned wide to fit through the hole in the ceramic cistern.
This is going to take a bit of thought.
Maybe some gin followed by some whisky will help.
