Opposites

Following my failed attempt at completing the 'recce' for our planned walk on Friday, I returned on Saturday to Forth Valley Royal Hospital at Larbert to try out the waymarked routes in the hospital grounds.

The weather wasn't nearly as good as Friday - in fact, it started snowing at one point - but I reckon the 2km 'yellow' route, which takes in Larbert Loch (pictured above, as it was from the opposite side yesterday) will fit the bill and complement our walk around Plean Country Park rather well.

Recce complete. All I need now is some decent weather when we come to do the walk for real, as it were, on Wednesday. But I'm not holding my breath - it is still February, after all.
