How Very Thoughtful!

It was very thoughtful of B to treat M and I to lunch at The Dales Hotel in Upper Sheringham again.
We had a very nice Sunday Lunch (my roast beef and Yorkshire pudding were delicious), as was the starter and dessert…yes, I know, I’m talking about food…again!  We do like it there, it’s very genteel and traditional and the service is very good too and it’s in a pretty spot amongst undulating countryside.
It was also very thoughtful of the hotel to provide a variety of board games in the comfortable lounge where we had our coffee.  There were two chess sets, plus Jenga and the game pictured, which I’m assuming is solitaire.
A very civilised way to spend a Sunday lunchtime.  Thanks B!
