The Roaches and Hen Cloud

We had planned another of my training walks for my 3 day walk in The Lakes in May. We set off for a loop around The Roaches, but as awe arrived the weather was taking a turn for the worse. It had started to snow and was rather cold and windy. We wouldn't have seen anything from the ridge, so opted for a lower level walk.

Tittesworth Reservoir is close by, so we opted for that instead. We did continue to encounter a few sleety flurries, and decided we'd made the right choice.

This is my favourite view of the walk, near the end. The view is of The Roaches and Hen Cloud. The clouds never really lifted off the ridge of The Roaches.
