sad event

We stood out in the cold (snow and 18 degrees) next to the road for two hours along with several thousand other folks to honor a fallen police officer. His funeral procession went by the main road near our home. There must have been a thousand police cars from over 240 jurisdictions in the procession. This was actually late yesterday but my camera got so cold it quit working before the actual procession came by. Our prayers are with his family.
On a brighter note, the sun is out again this morning so took a couple of extras before shoveling the sidewalk
