Diary of an Edinburgher

Eyemouth Day Three

Another fine sunny morning for our beach stroll, though a very chilly wind.

A wee run in the car to St Abbs harbour, then Coldingham Beach. I love wee cute harbours, and they don’t get much cuter than St Abbs. It has a wee cafe - open, but no dogs, and too cold to sit outside. Except to pose for a photo.

Coldingham Beach was super - for a start, it was sheltered from the biting wind. It has lots of higgledy-piggledy wee painted huts. Actually, sheds. Nothing like the posh painted beach huts down south. It was a lovely wee sandy beach with craggy rocks at one end. There was a beach cafe (shut).

Back in time for the rugby. Scotland won!!

I am sooo looking forward to fish'n'chips again, but that'll have to wait till tomorrow, when we have more visitors.
