Border Begone

When I put this Charles Rennie Mackintosh inspired border up in the spare room, it was all the rage and I've always liked it.  However, since I've been looking at dozens hundreds of houses online, I haven't seen another one still in place!  I think they may have had their day, so this one came down today.

It involved a lot of climbing up and down the stepladder, soaking the border, then soaking the backing paper but it seems to have come off very well (see Extra).  Now resting my aching back, as is TJ who spent most of the day sorting out the wheat from the chaff in the shed before it is knocked down.

When (or even if) we move, we are going to be the most decluttered house in the neighbourhood:-)
