Blackcap

A day of sunshine and showers so much of the day was spent watching the Winter Olympics. Our Son-in-law and Grandson visited during the morning.

Some years ago we had a pair of Blackcaps, which nested in our honeysuckle, but we had not seen them for a while. Clearly some are still around as this male Blackcap landed on this Forsythia shrub. I only managed one picture before it flew away so it is not as sharp as I would like, but I wanted to record it.
