Snow shower after snow shower is crossing the village today and it is blowing a hoolie and reallllllly cold so all of that is my excuse for staying in.  It's made me do jobs I've been putting off, including getting my head around the prep needed for an orienteering event I'm organising later in the year - don't you just love risk assessments??!  At least my list of things to do has lots of crossings out now!

I opened the bedroom window for just a short few moments to avoid things blowing off windowsills and shelves, and curtains disappearing eastwards, and captured this siskin hanging on till the feeder stopped swaying.  His lovely markings can be seen from the rear here.
