Frost, sun.....

and, in the afternoon, a short snow shower, then sun again. Temperatures about 4, but no wind so felt pleasant. 
Loved the colours in this pic, but the high tops are well covered in good quality snow.
The Coastguard Rescue chopper went overhead Cairngorm bound. They had a nine hour rescue in Feshie yesterday. In Achnashellach, one body has been found and the search resumed forhis brother this morning.
Everything seems to be waiting, no spring migrants yet and the winter birds were quiet first thing. Saw this deer as I walked and, as she was still there when I returned an hour later, I presume she is ill.
