Birthday Blessings

My birthday brought me two unwanted gifts... a sniffly cold and snow. Lovely!

Starting my day by de-snowing the car was hardly my idea of fun. Stood outside freezing in the snow with a TV news cameraman helped to bring on a chill which I couldn’t shake off all day.

The conference was a great success and I had a wonderful work experience marketing student with me who got much out of her day so all worthwhile in the end. I even got to see my favourite owl Mozart and the lovely falconry team, what a treat.

A trip to Bluewater this evening to see my friend Vikki where we enjoyed a browse around the beauty counters and a lovely meal.

Returned home to open my pile of birthday cards and a book on American aviator Betty Skelton from my great friend DB. Feeling blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in my life.
