Scalded...

oysters. We were invited to an oyster scald at our friends house today. She lives on a nice size creek. It was a rainy day and the fog on the creek was just beautiful. I personally do not care for oysters but most people really enjoyed them.  There was plenty of other foods for the land lovers like me! .
We have to go back to the farm on Monday to meet with the pipeline people. There will be a  natural gas line crossing the back side of our property and there are details to work out. A meeting with the tree cutters is also planned and the man buying the trees. I'm happy there are not any really old trees on this part of the property. I still hate to see any of them cut down. It will be another short trip as the house is winterised for at least  another 6 weeks or so.
