Get well flowers

Poor Mum was feeling properly rough this morning, so we called 111 and ended up with a visit from a doctor (who diagnosed a chest infection and prescribed antibiotics) and a community nurse (for a slightly more delicate matter).  By this afternoon, she was looking a whole perkier - apart from when I came home from picking up the antibiotics and found her fast asleep, bless her.  I was going to sneak these flowers into her room while she slept but she woke up just before I walked through the door with them.

Had a pretty chilled out afternoon/evening after that, and cooked Mum her favourite meal from her school days (cheesy mashed potato and grated carrot - perfect invalid food).  Then time for a large Bailey's in front of the TV with my laptop :)
