Joe's 30th Birthday Assault Course Extravaganza

We met up with Joe, his wife Carolyn and a group of people at Ratho today for Joe's 30th birthday event.

Mr D had forgotten to RSVP to the event and there were only a limited number of places so I GRACIOUSLY (ha!) stepped down and let him have my place. This had nothing to do with the fact that I'd just seen the actual height of the place, it was all out of the goodness of my heart.

It's not a great picture but it gives you some sense of the size of the place. The blob up near the ceiling in the grey jumper is Mr D. You arrive at the aerial assault course after leaping off a 100ft drop and zip-wiring (is that a word?!) to the start. I was on solid, if high, ground taking photos and all the happier for it.

We then went through to Dunblane for our niece's 5th birthday...but that's a whole other story!
