A Lightbulb Moment

I spent yesterday morning at the hospital and it looks like everything is to go ahead on Tuesday morning....we shall see. I usually take most things in my stride, but I am worked up about it...again. I had an 'almost panic attack' in the hospital. Not quite a real one, but everything washed over me...I seriously need to get a grip!

I had planned to do an open water swim this morning, but I decided to be sensible and give it a miss in case I developed a chill or a cold....that would really piss me off. Instead Pat and I went to Eccles and then to Heywood....then we headed to Ellen's. We had a good old gossip over tea and scones.

I need to get back on the strict diet this week, especially if Dubai is on the cards for September. I want to lose two stone and if all goes well with my knee then I can get back on my bike and in the gym too.

As for the lightbulb moment...I've actually got back to writing my children's book. I had come across a stumbling block (along with writer's block) but I had a bright idea and so I am back on it....watch out JK Rowling lol
