Verity

Still continuing my mono month of February.
Had Verity and Kitty over for the morning before taking them to Skipton after lunch for their dance lessons.
Ruby not joining them for once as she is going to Italy with school on a skiing trip, setting off this afternoon.
Grey, wet and miserable outdoors so l was lucky to have Verity willing to put on my dressing gown for this.

Earlier l’ve been helping Kitty her younger sister, to do her homework project around the village today.
She took 80 photographs with my camera in not the best of conditions but they’ve turned out okay.
Then she’s uploaded them onto my iPad , selected what she’s going to use, cropped them and has started putting them into groups and themes.
She did all that independently
I’m going to teach her how to make them into different collages using an app.
Then l’m going to show her how to add text and number them.
She will do all that independently with me just keeping an eye on her.
The final stage is for her to collate and write about each collage.
There is no way l could have done this at eight years old ( for one thing it hadn’t been invented!)
It’s a different world!
