Winter hazards

Today driving to Dunoon I noticed two places where police tape marked the site of accidents which must have happened in the past week.   

This one, by Loch Tarsan, is at a spot where the water is very close to the road and although I understand there were no serious injuries  it is an indication of the dangers of winter weather particularly in rural areas on single track roads.

And more snow and ice  is forecast for the next few days.
