I love this tripod head. I'm still rather slow at using it but once set in a position it doesn't move. It has a modified quick release plate of the Swiss Arca type to take the Kirk L-bracket attached to my camera. I got fed up with movement on my old quick release plate when I used a telephoto lens. Nothing budges now and it's so easy to change from landscape to portrait quickly
