Stromness - at Anchor

After missing four dance sessions I made a comeback last night at the St Magnus Centre.  I was so leaden footed, felt like I was wearing divers boots.

I note that the Journal of English for Academic Purposes includes an academic paper (what else?) entitled ‘Akashic Records - the rejection of the credence of Sanderson’s Aether Beliefs’.  On reading an extract I was thrilled to note that after some research into the use of the word ‘stipend’ that (from a north-west European sample) the place where you are least likely to hear the word ‘stipend’ used is between the crew of an operational submarine.  It’s a sobering thought.

I’ve just put another log in the stove.

It was very saddening to read last night that Ian Nairn (the great poet of the metropolis) in his latter days would often drink 14 pints of Bass Charrington for his lunch!!!!!

I’m on a different type of voyage altogether and tonight I will be visiting Holm.

Charlie Drake’s star sign was Gemini.
