What a splash....

......this scarlet robin was making in the bird bath this morning.  In fact, if the truth be known, he was competing in the AOG (southern hemisphere).
Australia's entrant in the "dive into the shallow bowl" competition. The winner is required to make the biggest splash and Robin was a hot favourite! 
He is also a candidate for a prize in Silly Saturday because, well, it's a silly thing to do isn't it.

I will add an extra of him basking in the sunshine, drying and and gathering his courage for the next round
