Peasgood nonsuch

Just wherever would anyone come up with a name such as that for an apple.
My original tree died so replanted it and it has been in for two year. This year it has produced seven very handsome apples.
I used to always bottle at least 30 large jars so cant wait for it to really start producing abundantly again
