Lady

I've seen a ladybird from time to time over the winter, evidently hibernating amongst the house plants, not sure where. But spotting her again yesterday, I took the opportunity to move her to a plant that has a small outbreak of aphids. She vanished again for a while but today I was very pleased to see her methodically munching her way along the little stems. Think it's something I grew from a seed.....pomegranate, probably.

She seems to be resting now, but has yet to set to on the stems on the left of the pic - probably saving them for breakfast.
