Nesting UHA 2018

A sunny morning, then a snow shower came over.  It soon passed, and been a lovely sunny day with blue skies.  A fine evening tonight, but the odd snow shower.

Another day working on the museum desk.  It was a really quiet day, but February tends to be a quiet month.  I had plenty of photo archive updates to get on with.  After tea, I picked up friend Julie and mam and we headed north to the Nesting Up Helly Aa.  Now time for my feet up, maybe try a pint?

With the fine night, it was a great turn out for the Nesting Up Helly Aa.  We befriended a south couple and they tagged along with us.  The Viking season is well under way now, and this is Jarl Ryan Leask with his squad, under their fiery torches.  Taken at the South Nesting Hall.
