Huddersfield Station
THURSDAY
A Northern train pulling into Huddersfield Station.
The massive building centre left is the old LNWR/LYR goods warehouse. When it was built in 1885 it was the largest warehouse in the country.
The section f the building projecting out is the "wagon lift". Whole railway wagons and their contents could be lifted to different levels.
