observing the observer

There was some fallout from last night's CURRY to sort out. I felt a bit sorry for having to send my student away again. Anyway, the file servers appear to be back again and everything is working OK. Unfortunately, we still have lost some performance. Not clear what is wrong. Experimenting with the live system is quite tricky though. I suspect we will have to have another CURRY soon.

Afternoon off in preparation to going away for a few days. Ended up on Victoria St. Such a nice street, yet full of cars. The sun was out. The photographer clearly enjoyed the sunshine as well and probably was also wondering what had happened to the head (see extra).
