The lurgy (which my spellchecker keeps wanting to change to "large") has mostly moved on and I feel much more life-like. Yay! The gray skies relented for a few hours so we went for a walk at the park. There are a couple of these trees in the dog area and I love their sweet little buds, with raindrops. Maybe they are dogwood trees!

The extra is a picture of the sky when we first got there. I see a stairway to heaven in it. Or it could be emulating Mr. Rainier. 

I recently came upon this short poem (one of her "envelope poems") - I find it very pithy.

In this short Life that only lasts an hour
How much - how little - is within our power.
