Rotary Quiz

Our evening was spent at the Rotary Primary School Quiz. This was taken before all the kids were there. I thought it looked a bit like university challenge. C was participating as part of the Cornbank St James team. He was chuffed to be the top most knowledgable child in his year (as in he came top in the general knowledge quiz they did to choose the team). He does retain all sorts of nonsense so I’m not that surprised. He’s lucky to have such a good memory. His team came second after a fab come back in the second half. He was really nervous and I felt very proud that he overcame his nervousness to remember answers.
D went to football training and then round to his friends house. We decided D wouldn’t really enjoy the quiz because we would be telling him to shh with saying the answers. He’s also got an incredible memory - one day they will make a formidable pub quiz team as their knowledge is quite complementary. They have plans for when they are 18 :-D ...they plan to take on the Dads who do the pub quiz each week.
