On Ice
Thought I'd get some cod roe from the fishmonger but they'd sold out - should have bought it when I saw it yesterday but it's only mid-season so there's plenty time yet. It got me thinking though; we used to eat it pickled in vinegar (as opposed to fried in beaten-egg) but I wonder if that's just 'cos vinegar was cheaper than eggs? Wouldn't surprise me but too late to ask my mum now.
Then headed to the library where I found that today was 'Dress up as a wizard and take a selfie' day. I resisted the urge but am regretting it now!
