I've probably goth-ised this a bit too much, but then I am an ex (or should that just be old?) goth so it's kind of in the blood. Or maybe I'm just using that as an excuse for overprocessing a shot I wasn't particularly happy with... whatever, I couldn't let a good cobweb go to waste.

Busy day - morning at the toddler group I help to run, then after lunch a school visit for H. It was the local village school, just around the corner, so obviously very convenient and part of the local community - BUT the Head was distinctly unimpressive and the teachers didn't seem to want to engage with us. Not nearly as lovely as the little rural school we visited earlier in the week, but that we have at best a 50/50 chance of getting in to. Some more options needed I think.

Pub meal this evening. H was brilliant (even if he did decide at one point to pretend to be a cat and try to eat his meal with no hands) but P a little more challenging... we just about escaped before total meltdown was reached. I think I feel another glass of wine coming on!
